FAHEE Gives First Scholarship Award!

The Foundation for Allied Health & EMS Education (FAHEE) was recently established to generate academic scholarships for Allied Health, EMS and Paramedic education.

Rick Foehr, President and founder of EMSTA College and member at large on the Board of the Foundation, said, “because we’re not an accredited institution, we thought it prudent to have the ability to offer scholarships to those students who won’t be eligible for student aid if we offered it. These scholarships could fund a portion of the tuition for a student who qualifies for the scholarship and would allow those students to attend school worry-free, in terms of finances; FAHEE gives us that opportunity.”

FAHEE is proud to announce that Sarah Yohe, EMSTA Paramedic Class 31 student, is the recipient of our first scholarship award!  We wish her luck as she pursues her career goal of becoming a licensed Paramedic in San Diego County.

FAHEE is currently accepting donations to help build the student scholarship fund.  For more information, please contact the President of the FAHEE Board, Mr. Rick Rod (rrod@fahee.org)  or call (619) 363-3072 to speak with a Board member.
