About

The Foundation for Allied Health & EMS Education (FAHEE) is a local, San Diego County-based, educational charity committed to the support and improved quality of allied health and EMS education.

The Foundation, known as FAHEE, is working to improve the quality of student education by providing grants to students and funding for equipment to enhance and improve their educational experience. The FAHEE programs enable students who demonstrate financial need to obtain the financial assistance they require, to meet their educational and living expenses while in school. The core program objective for FAHEE is to raise funds to secure and implement the means and measures to accomplish its purposes. These intentions include making funding available for scholarships to those students who fall into a category generally recognized as lower income, economically or societally disadvantaged. Additionally FAHEE is raising funds to enable it to provide funds for improvement of education by underwriting the new, constantly evolving technological tools and equipment which educational institutions will need over the coming years, in order to instruct the students at the highest academic level for the ever-changing health care field.

Today’s healthcare environment is dynamic, expanding and causing considerable demand in San Diego, Los Angeles and Riverside Counties for well–trained students to meet the needs of local first responders. Scholarships will give qualified students the opportunity for higher education and an opportunity to enter the workforce in a highly respected field.

Learning is not attained by chance. It must be sought for with ardor, and attended to with diligence. ~Abigail Adams
